Brief academic history: I obtained my PhD from Johns Hopkins University (2011) and then was a post-doctoral fellow in the Institute for Mind and Biology at the University of Chicago. In 2013, I moved to the University of Aberdeen where I established the laboratory and developed the initial concept of Rhythmic epigenetics. In 2019, the laboratory moved to SBOHVM, at the University of Glasgow. The research group continues to expand and aims to enhance our understanding of the mechanisms, development and evolution of estrous and seasonal (circannual) rhythms.
